Probing Questions

The format I use is like this.

  • In the comments just say Hey (name), PM sent; that way they are aware that you sent a message.
  • Hi/hello (clients name)
  • Tell them how you came to find them
  • Tell them why your contacting
  • Inquire how you can help
  • Probe about needs
  • Repeat needs back

Example: Hi David, Dax here from Become Digital Today. I saw your post about needing (service).
Can you tell me about your project?
Or
Can we discuss your (service) needs?

Probing questions

  • What is the goal of your website?
  • Type of site (portfolio, e-commerce, business, redesign, or mix)
  • Are there any similar websites or brands that catch your attention?
  • Who is your main competition?
  • Features you would want your site to have?
  • Do you have a branding guide? If not, what colors and fonts are most appealing?
  • Do you have copy (written material) or will we be providing it.

Next Steps

Thank you for the information, I will be sending over a proposal in the next 24 hours.

For larger projects, Upon signing of the proposal, we would need 33% down to begin work. Then once we show you a proof of concept, we would collect another 33%, and finally, upon feedback/turnover we would collect the remaining 33%.

For smaller projects, we would need a 50% downpayment and 50% upon turn over.

You will be provided a project board. This board will outline all the items that we will need from you to create your new website or set up your campaign. It will give you full visibility regarding your project.

I am always available for a chat, just let me know ahead of time so that we can schedule appropriately. You can also comment directly on your project board and someone from our team will be able to assist, as soon as possible.

Turn-Over

Upon turning over the website you will receive full admin access. With an overview and training on how your backend works.

On-going maintenance is important to ensure a website remains operating a full capacity, we have created a “maintenance” plan for just this reason.

We offer a 90-day warranty on any technical issues that may occur due to something we created on your website. This means these issues when reported would be fixed free of charge.
